Reformer Pilates uses a traditional piece of Pilates equipment to provide a total-body exercise aimed at increasing strength and flexibility. The gentle resistance applied to the muscles supporting the spine help develop a stronger core and improve joint stability, balance and posture.

Before you join a class:
Prior to joining the group, each participant must undergo an individual initial assessment. In this session, we can discuss any injuries or conditions you have, and introduce you to the reformer and your exercise program.
For hygiene and safety, please wear grippy socks during your sessions. These can be purchased at reception.
An initial reformer assessment is undertaken prior to the Group to develop an individual exercise plan for each group member.
An individualised low impact class using the Pilates reformers to focus on strength, core stability, flexibility and mobility in a supervised and social environment. Supervised by either an Exercise Physiologist or a Physiotherapist.

An individualised low-intensity class for those aged 60+ using the Pilates reformers to focus on safely strengthening the body whilst also improving mobility and flexibility in a supervised and social environment.
The reformer enables floor-based exercises to be performed without having to get up and down from the ground, and also enables low-impact strengthening of joints.
