Samantha graduated from Flinders University with a Master of Physiotherapy and Bachelor of Health Science. With experience across various public and private sectors, Samantha has consistently been exposed to a broad range of clinical conditions and has gained extensive knowledge on how to address them. A strong commitment to continuously build upon her current personal and professional skills has led her to successfully complete self-paced course on disability management and an advanced dry needling course. 

Over the past several years she has also engaged in voluntary sports trainer work with various sporting clubs including Modbury Vista Soccer Club and ensures to remain up-to date with the latest evidence. Samantha has always shown a strong passion for both neurological and post-operative rehabilitative care and understands that every patient requires an individualized treatment plan to help alleviate pain and restore functional independence.

Outside of the clinic, Samantha adopts a fairly well-balanced, active lifestyle as demonstrated by her participation in a range of different sports including touch football, district basketball and netball. She also loves to crochet and enjoys spending time with her family and friends.

You can expect to have a laugh whilst working hard, and to then have individualised tasks to complete at home. Nicolle loves sharing her knowledge and enjoys seeing others learning new skills, so she will also spend time explaining everything she is doing.

Nicolle grew up in Tea Tree Gully, and she, along with her husband and two children still live in the area. They love to go out caravanning, 4 wheel driving and exploring South Australia together. Outside of work, Cat enjoys spending time with her family and friends, loves water sports at the river and the beach such as kayaking and stand-up paddle boarding, and looks forward to winter so that she can go skiing in the snowfields!  She spends a lot of time as a sporting Mum, both on the sidelines and as a coach, courtside, cycling trackside and poolside, watching her very active kids. As an ex-netballer and middle distance runner, she really enjoys working with sporty adults and kids with their injury management and prevention.

John Paul Kola

John Paul Kola has been a physio for more than 18 years and has been working in musculoskeletal clinical practice settings here in South Australia for close to 15 years. John Paul has also previously worked in rehabilitation settings with children suffering from various orthopaedic and neurological conditions.

John Paul has a Postgraduate Master’s degree in Manual (Manipulative Therapy) and Sports Physiotherapy from the University of South Australia (2008) in addition to a Bachelor of Physiotherapy degree (2005, Manipal University, South India). Vincent is an accredited Exercise Physiologist graduating with a Bachelor of Clinical Exercise Physiology (Honours) from the University of South Australia in 2024, with over four years’ experience working within the health and fitness industry as a Personal Trainer. Vincent has worked with a diverse range of clients ranging from 13 to 74 years of age, with a diverse range of goals and needs including weight loss/gain, general health and fitness, active ageing, pain management, pre/post-surgery rehabilitation, mid-late stage musculoskeletal rehabilitation, return to sport and postpartum exercise.

Jacquie completed a diploma of remedial massage with the Australian Institute of fitness in 2018 and continued on to University completing a bachelor of Human Movement. 

She has worked as a sports trainer for 4 years with the Sturt women's football team, and went as the University of South Australia's Uni-nationals team trainer in 2023.

Lel has an extensive background in the Health Industry, having worked in the NT and SA. She has over 30 years’ health experience working in remote Aboriginal communities as well as in the NT Health system before returning to Adelaide. Lel has a Diploma of Practice Management and has worked for 10 years in General Practice with Allied Health Management.

Lel enjoys being part of a team who provide quality patient care to the local population.

Steve Olech

Steve Olech is the Director and Co-Founder of My Local Physio Plus, established with his wife Melissa in 2017.

A career commercial executive, Steve brings extensive experience across the areas of strategy, business planning, partnerships, commercialisation, and marketing. His career spans senior roles in elite and community sport, health and education – including as Head of Commercial with the Port Adelaide Football Club, establishing the Adelaide Strikers in the BBL, and consulting to a range of organisations on strategic growth and commercialisation. These include Rostrevor College and the Manchester City Football School, Netball SA and their $92m stadium upgrade and as a member of the Office of Recreation, Sport and Racing Risk, Audit and Performance Committee.

He is a graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors and a former student of Melbourne Business School and the AFL Senior Leadership Program.

Cameron Craig

Cameron completed his Bachelor of Human Movement in 2015 and Masters of Physiotherapy in 2017 at the University of South Australia. Cameron’s extensive experience and involvement in many sporting clubs is the foundation for his passion for sport, exercise and musculoskeletal physiotherapy.

Cameron strives to provide evidence-based approaches which help individuals with their goals and the best possible long-term outcomes. He combines a range of interventions to complement his hand-on approach.

Cameron also has a passion for group exercise classes, taking weekly core and conditioning classes in our Clinic, and a supervised rehabilitation class at Benefitness to help individuals get back to the things they love and stay healthy.

Melissa Olech has over 20 years of experience as a Physiotherapist in both Adelaide and Sydney, predominantly in private practice.

She has lived locally in the Golden Grove region with her family for over 20 years with involvement in local schools and sporting clubs.

Her extensive experience has been across all age groups, with a particular interest in a wide range of areas.

These include:

• Neck pain and headaches
• Upper and lower back pain
• Postural education and ergonomics
• Pain associated with arthritis and ageing

Melissa combines a hands-on treatment approach with education and self-management strategies, working closely with her clients to achieve successful outcomes.

Chris is an accredited Exercise Physiologist graduating from a Bachelor of Applied Science (Human Movement and Health Science) in 2011 before completing a Graduate Diploma in Clinical Exercise Science in 2012 at the University of South Australia with over 10 years in the health and fitness industry.

Chris’ experience spans across a range of environments including private practice, commercial gyms, corporate health, and involvement at UniSA with students and new graduates. He has found his passion around educating others on what exercise can mean for them and the importance of living an active lifestyle.

He loves to empower those who are seeking to improve their quality of life with whatever exercise that may look like – our body is our most prized possession, so we need to look after it!

Greta Gordon

Greta is the Marketing Manager at My Local Physio Plus, handling social media accounts, websites and all things Marketing/Design!

She is currently studying at the University of South Australia to achieve her Bachelor in Business specialising in Marketing. She has multiple years previous experience working in an allied health clinic and has a wide understanding of our services and the importance of what we do at My Local Physio Plus. 

She loves all things social media, content creation, netball, sports, health and wellness. When she is not in the clinic, she is studying, spending time with friends or staying active through playing netball or going to the gym.
